Kent and Medway are seeking to expand our award winning Digital First team.
We are passionate about helping staff and patients adopt digital technologies in GP Practices to improve access to care and ensure everyone in Kent and Medway has access to digital services.
Working in these programmes, you will have access to front line clinicians and see the impact your work can have for their patients. Kent and Medway supports its clinical champions to engage clinicians, adopt technologies and transform care.
We are looking for managers to learn digital applications by working with Suppliers and engage clinicians and communicate how the technologies can support clinical decision making.
This opportunity offers a chance to build a portfolio of experience and could lead to further development in NHS roles in the Integrated Care System
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established
programme - Health Service Journal Finalist in 2021.
The role will lead a portfolio of digital transformation projects
providing leadership for the delivery of the programme over the next two years.
The role is responsible for ensuring transformation of digital care
pathways in GP Practices and the community with an emphasis on clinical safety
and quality.
The post holder will report to the Head of Delivery and be part of
wider ICS Digital Team with opportunities to establish an extensive body of
works and leadership development.
The role requires leadership and programme
management skills with a background in digital projects and clinical
stakeholder engagement.
