Job summary
The ICB's Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) directorate works in collaboration with health and care partners across Kentand Medway to deliver the digital change and transformation required to support the system to be more effective and transformat pace with higher quality and lower cost. The DDaT directorate is structured around four teams (Technology, Data/Analytics,Information Governance and Digital Delivery) that work closely together with colleagues and system partners.The team:
- delivers ICB digital transformation projects and assures the delivery of ICS wide digital transformation projects/programmes, these are at scale collaborative projects led by the ICB individual providers, health and care partnerships or providercollaboratives
- provides digital subject matter expertise by aligning and embedding named digital leads to ICB transformation programmes to promote digital innovation, automation, modern office technologies and championing the use of modern business analysis anddigital transformation methodologies
- supports the procurement of digital solutions in line with ICB Standing Financial Instructions and Public Contract Regulations and ensure solutions meet relevant NHS and industry compliance requirements, including accessibility and inclusion,information governance and clinical safety
- provides business support to the Chief Digital Transformation Officer on budget management, risk management, and tracking of issues and actions.
Main duties of the job
The Project Support Officer is responsible for:
- building effective working relationships with clinical, health and operational colleagues across health and social carestakeholders
- providing digital transformation project support expertise to colleagues in the ICB, primary care networks, health and care partnerships and the ICS
- supporting the full lifecycle delivery of ICB digital transformation project and programmes using scaled agile approaches
- supporting digital transformation leads to work with ICB delivery directorate colleagues to ensure the digital elements of the ICB transformation programmes are delivered
- identifying and supporting the management of issues and conflicts that arise
- identifying opportunities and inter-dependencies across system programmes and supporting the removal of barriers for delivery
- supporting project/programme delivery activities
- working digital transformation leads to maintain project documentation including project plans, benefits tracking, risk and issues logs, requests and change logs
- providing administrative support for programme and projects, reporting , arranging the necessary governance meetings and managing notes
- maintaining programme and project reporting and filing systems
- supporting data analysis and reporting: extracting, processing and presenting operational and management information from project management tools, clinical and other systems
- supporting delivery of overarching project and programme activities
