Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team, delivering digital solutions that improve communication between clinical teams and help improve health and care pathways

The initial projects will focus around improved analytics to support population health and prevention, research and pathway redesign

As our Senior Digital Project Manager you will:

  • Oversee team members to deliver the requirements listed above; engage and liaise with key stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of day-to-day activities and projects
  • Manage teams and drive delivery of a range of business initiatives and projects
  • Support the identification and sharing of best practice in employee engagement
  • Operate in a highly political and sensitive environment
  • Support the portfolio of initiatives in demonstrating value for money for the current spend through tracking, managing and delivering agreed benefits

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven project manage with strong experience of successful delivery of digital solutions.

NHS, local authority of other ICS experience would be beneficial but not essential.

You will demonstrate a strong focus on the delivery of outcomes and benefits rather than just the technology.

The successful applicant will be part of a friendly and enthusiastic team supporting digital, data and technology services for the Northamptonshire Integrated Care System.

The team works closely with many health and care providers across Northamptonshire to identify requirements and solution that support new models of care and transformations to our services.

The Senior Digital Project Manager will directly contribute to improving health and wellbeing of our population through the initiatives that we deliver.

Delivering projects, initiatives and services to time and in a cost-effective way.

Supporting the identification and sharing of best practice in employee engagement.

Pro-actively managing stakeholders, respond to and resolve conflict between different stakeholders when this arises through facilitation or other appropriate mechanisms.

Responsible for a high standard of work supporting the delivery of projects on time, to quality standards and in a cost-effective manner. Maintain project document and associated plans with regular team meetings to monitor progress and resources.

Ensuring the flexibility of the project if required to meet conflicting/changing requirements.

Considering the impact of any change the projects will have on the business and oversee handover of any products to ensure full ownership and buy-in within the business Advocate the projects at senior and executive levels and ensure active engagement and sponsorship within NHS as a whole.

Ensuring that the projects maintain business focus, have clear authority and that the context, including risks, are actively managed in alignment with the strategic priorities of NHS.

  • Educated to degree or Masters level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
  • Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging Environments
  • Experience in managing risks and issues
  • Evidence of continued professions development
  • Experience in communications and stakeholder management

Qualifications & Experience
