In line with the national requirements Integrated Care Systems are now mandated to provide a 7 day 12 hour System Co-ordination Centre. In order to provide this the current ICB UEC team needs to expand and is therefore recruiting to:

Main duties of the job
The posts are across a 7 day flexible rota, which includes occasional weekend and evening working. Whilst the team work remotely there is an expectation that attendance is required at the ICB hub/Acute Hospitals when needed to support the ICS.
You will need to possess knowledge of the UEC system within SSOT and surrounding areas in order to support the systems delivery of high quality integrated UEC. You will have the skill to manage a multi-faceted workload, be passionate about patient care and have the ability to demonstrate a solution focused approach.
About us
From 1 July 2022, the Integrated Care System includes the newly formed Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Partnership Board (ICP) and the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB).
The ICB will be responsible for buying and monitoring health and care services and the ICP will be responsible for the overall health and care strategy for the whole of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent with the ICSs aim to reduce barriers between the NHS, councils, and the voluntary sector
Location Home based/hybrid working (majority of posts).
There may be occasions when you will be required to attend a location hub, usually this will be pre-planned and with at least a days' notice
All new starters are expected to collect their new IT equipment, from the IT Department, which is based in Stoke on Trent.
All posts at Band 8c and above, are expected to take part in the Silver on call rota and you will be expected to be flexible over 7 days, supporting the System Control Centre, full training will be provided. All new starters based at home are required to have appropriate desk/chair or other relevant equipment in compliance with DSE regulations to be able to work remotely.

The post holder will support the ADO to offer operational support, transformation and strategic development of a Staffordshire wide integrated UEC ensuring the ICB is seen as an effective leader.
The postholder will work directly with the ADO , and have close working relationships with the CDO Clinical Directors and associates, GPs and other primary care contractors, responsible for the strategic, operational and project management of a range of ICB transformational programmes in line with local and national Urgent Care strategies and plans.
