An exciting opportunity to become Project Manager within the Chief Transformation Officers Directorate has become available.

The post holder will support the Programme Manager and Programme Lead with a series of strategic transformation and service change programmes which support integrated working across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated care system.

The post holder will be expected to work with a range of stakeholders across the system and to utilise their project management skills to ensure all programmes meet the key tests of NHSE assurance.

Main duties of the job

This post is primarily responsible for supporting management of complex change programmes throughout the programme lifecycle from direction to delivery. Responsible for managing a range of projects in accordance with Prince2/ MSP methodology. The number of projects to be managed at any one time will be defined by their scale and level of complexity.

The Transformation and Service Change programme, alongside other transformation programmes, support the delivery of a sustainable health care future across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent integrated care system (ICS). This will result in set project milestones that must be delivered to cost, quality and time. Key stakeholder engagement at all levels is a key element of the successful delivery of the programme.

The post-holder will have responsibility for small- scale projects, or they will support a workstream which is part of a much larger programme of work led by a Transformation Programme Manager.

About us

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning functions; managing the NHS budget and arranging the provision of health services in the geographical area.

Location Home based/hybrid working (most of posts).

Travel on occasions to a Hub location with at least 1 days notice

New starters are expected to collect IT equipment, from offices in Stoke-on-Trent, and if based at home are required to have appropriate desk/chair/ relevant equipment in compliance with DSE regulations

Posts at Band 8c and above, will take part in the On-call rota, flexible over 7 days, supporting the System Control Centre, with full training provided.
