We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Band 4 Dental Nurse in Community Dental Services based at St Leonards Hospital in Inner NorthEast London (INEL).
We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about delivering a high-quality standard of care to our patients acrossLondon borough of Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham.
The range of services includes Sedation, Special Care Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Domiciliary care, Bariatric and Dental Mobile service (Homeless/Medium secure unit)
You will need to be able to work in a very busy environment whilst remaining calm and be able to demonstrate a good understand of and commitment to delivering excellent standards of care.
A Team Leader with specific responsibility for providing chair side Dental Nursing for special care group of patients in clinical setting and onoutreach. Whilst the post will be based at an agreed clinic the role is peripatetic and will involve covering at all dentalsites in INEL.
You will be required to have the qualification level specified in the person specification in order to carry out the job, however, we do welcomeapplicants from individuals wishing to further their knowledge and skills and to gain this recognized qualification, whichwe will support. Main duties of the job
You will be delivering high quality customer services to patients and visitors. Providing chair side assistance, visitingpatients in the community(domiciliary, Homeless centres and the medium secure unit in mobile dental unit) covering reception and supporting theentire dental team.o Organisation of the dental kits and materials for Domiciliary dental visito Undertake specific roles as and when directed by the Dental Nurse team leader to support the day to day running of theclinics,implementing service initiatives/developments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards including, but not limitedto, CQC, DentalPractice Inspections, Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety Risk Assessment etc.o Dental Nurse to ensure standardised practices across all sites.o You will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership, with the ability to work independently, proactively and underpressure.
