We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and passionate Deputy Chief Nurse to join our professional team. The Deputy Chief Nurse will work as part of the senior Professional nursing team and lead on portfolio areas on behalf of the Chief Nursing Officer.

The post holder will deputise for all aspects of the Chief Nurse portfolio and is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who has ambitions to become a Chief Nurse. This post is for someone who is able to manage a demanding and busy portfolio, who has the confidence to work autonomously and role models compassionate Leadership.

The Deputy Chief Nurse will provide strong, visible and professional leadership and ensure that the pillars of quality including patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness as well as the delivery of high-quality care remain central to our strategic direction and decision making. Main duties of the job

  • Highly specialist, advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of nursing procedures - doctorate or masters and additional relevant training and qualifications
