We are looking for an experienced and innovative Deputy Chief Allied Health Professions Officer to join our senior leadership team. Supporting our CAHPO you will deputise at the Trust's Executive Team and Board in this exciting AHP leadership opportunity.
The Deputy CAHPO will hold a diverse portfolio directly aligned to our key strategic objectives including the transformation of intermediate care, the optimisation of the AHP workforce and the AHP quality & safety and research agendas.

Main duties of the job

- HCPC registration as a relevant Allied Health Professional
- Highly specialist, advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of AHP procedures acquired through a doctorate or equivalent relevant experience, plus further significant in-depth continuous professional development eg Masters level education and additional relevant training and qualifications
- Management qualification or completion of senior level leadership programme

- Quality improvement training and/or qualification

- Extensive, successful track record of leadership and achievement at senior AHP level working within health or care settings
