We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic dietitian with 1-2 years' NHSexperience to join our innovative home enteral nutrition team and develop their specialist skills and knowledge in afriendly and supportive team. Our team of specialist and highly specialist dietitians, dietetic associate practitioners, andour home enteral nutrition specialist nurse support adults across East and West Kent who are tube fed at home, giving usthe opportunity to build relationships with our patients and provide holistic care.Our adult and paediatric dietetics teams form the largest in the South East. We work alongside our specialist communitydietetics colleagues in Oncology, Gastroenterology, Diabetes, and Paediatrics teams within Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics- all working in community settings in the beautiful South Eastern coastal County of Kent.CQC have rated our trust as 'Outstanding'. Main duties of the job
This exciting role will be for an experienced dietitian to provide specialist support to adults who receive enteral tubefeeding at home.If successful, you will be fully supported, clinically supervised and integrated into the team led by experienced andenthusiastic dietitians in order to equip you with the skills and knowledge required in the realm of community dietetics.Our team provides supervision and support from our highly specialist dietitians. You will be supported to develop yourknowledge and skills across a wide variety of clinical conditions. You will also have access to dietitians in the widerdepartment who specialise in a number of areas including gastroenterology, diabetes and obesity, and neurology. We arealso supporting training for dietetic apprenticeships and dietetic students.Your opinions and input will be welcomed and valued and you will have access to clinical supervision and in-house trainingand other CPD opportunities internally and externally to support your development.The attached job description and person specification provides further details.
