We have an exciting opportunity for a Governance Officer to join the Corporate Governance Team.
The Corporate Governance Team are responsible for the successful delivery of the highest levels of corporate governance. This includes overseeing all governance arrangements such as ensuring effectiveand efficient running of the Board, Council of Governors and Board sub-committee meetings.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of the Corporate Governance Team and will be responsible for supporting governance arrangements across the Trust by ensuring that effective arrangements are in place for supporting the Board and Committees.
The post holder will support the Assistant Trust Secretary to co-ordinate Board / Committees' agendas and papers taking responsibility for the timely coordination and distribution of highly complex, confidentialand sensitive information.
The Post Holder will be required to manage the forward planner anticipating possible needs by remaining informed of forth coming activities and developments.
The role will manage the department's administrative processes, this includes ensuring forward plans are up to date, timely production of meeting agendas, meeting papers and advanced minute-taking and follow-up of actions from meetings as required.
