An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Specialist Infant Feed Service as an administrator supporting the Kent Community Health NHS FoundationTrust and Kent County Council's Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) process. The Specialist Infant Feeding Service is part of Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust's (KCHFT)Heath Visiting Service and provides specialist support for families experiencing complex feeding challenges.

The Infant Feeding Care Navigator will play a key role providing administration support to the BFI project managers.The role will involve arranging and booking training for staff across both services and preparing for UNICEF assessments and progression towards achieving gold award.

We are looking for someone to be based at the Specialist Team Hub in Maidstone but there is an expectation to travel throughout Kent. We will consider different kinds of flexibleworking to support you achieve a work-life balance.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the Specialist Infant Feeding Service, the Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) Administrator will support the BFI Project Support Managers to co-ordinate and embedthe UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) across KCHFT and KCC Children's Centres. This will include supporting the administration of the monitoring, audit, action planning andevaluation of the BFI standards and aiding the written progress reports to the service. The BFI administrator will also be responsible for supporting and co-ordinating the upcomingBFI joint KCHFT Health Visiting and Kent Count Council Children Centres re-accreditation and Gold assessment by UNICEFThe BFI Administrator will also work alongside colleagues to support the administration and bookings for both staff BFI training and the co-ordination and bookings of breastfeedingvolunteer training.
