Job summary

The Health visiting Team are looking for enthusiastic Health Visitors to join us.If you are newly qualified Health Visitor or an experienced Health Visitor you are welcome to apply.

We work in partnership with local childrens centres and GPs on a challenging and rewarding caseload, and we strongly encourage creativity and new ideas.

At KCHFT we encourage learning & development and support champion and link roles in areas such as: early years development, born to move, communication, haemoglobinopathy, breastfeeding, domestic abuse, Solihull, disabilities, perinatal mental health, and CONI (care of next infant) so you can specialise in an area that interests you.

Essential

  • Evidence of Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice - Health Visitor/ Public Health Specialist Practitioner Qualification Honours degree or equivalent
  • Nursing qualification and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

Desirable

  • Clinical leadership, management or supervisory qualification
  • Working towards Master level study
  • Practice assesor / mentor

Experience

Essential

  • Previous Health Visiting experience is desirable but not essential
  • Practical experience in managing health related projects/complex caseloads
  • Supporting others (mentor / educator / supervisor ) experience

Desirable

  • Experience of leading and managing teams
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages (E- Pay / E-roster/ TAPs/ CIS)
