Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated CCAB Qualified Accountant to join the finance team. We are looking for a driven individual who is self-motivated, pro-active and with excellent planning and organisational skills. The post holder is required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
We work a hybrid arrangement with 3 days in the office.
Main duties of the job
The Chief Management Accountant role is responsible for leading on all aspects of Management Accounting for the Trust. This includes the direct line management of finance staff.
The role ensures an effective financial management and reporting function for budget holders and supports the management accounts function in delivering a high quality management accounts function.
The post holder will ensure that the integrity of appropriate financial processes are maintained and contribute to the production of corporate returns including NHSE and ICB returns.
The role will also play a key role in the identification and reporting of CIP as well as inputting into tenders, identifying the key risks and potential returns.
