Job summary

The Business Operations Service, part of Wirral Community and Care NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a dynamic, flexible and highly motivated individual with a passion for business and service improvement.

The post is fundamental for leadership and service delivery across our organisation, and recognises the complexity of the services delivered by the Trust. The post holder will be responsible for supporting operational delivery and leadership to localities and for supporting strategic leadership, with visibility at service level.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Business Support Manager will support Wirral Community Health and Care Services in delivering Business Plans, including work on developing new initiatives whilst supporting optimal delivery of current service performance.

The post holder will work with the Service Leads to identify and support growth with implementation of pilot projects and new services as well as working on tender submissions, something that is becoming increasingly relevant and highly important.

Part of the role will also include working alongside the Clinical Management Team, HR, Finance and Business Intelligence, focusing on achievement of efficiencies/CIP within the services, supporting the Annual Business Planning Cycle of the Services and supporting the service lead with optimising and managing service budgets.

A fundamental part of this post is the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines.
