We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated, caring individuals to support the Podiatry Service in the delivery of quality foot care to the residents of Wirral and the surrounding areas.
Ideally you will have previous experience in a healthcare environment, be a good communicator and have the ability to work unsupervised. Good IT skills are essential as the role will involve regular use of computer based clinical systems. Comprehensive in-service training will be provided to enable you to undertake the role.

As a Podiatry Assistant you will be required to assist with the delivery of a wide range of foot care treatments in a variety of NHS clinics, GP surgeries and domiciliary settings. An important part of the role of a podiatry assistant will involve supporting the specialist podiatry services provided to Wirral University Teaching Hospitals. In addition to working as part of a team, you will also be trained to provide basic foot care to patients who are unable to self-care, both in clinics and their own homes.
The position requires applicants to be able to work flexibly across a wide geographical area, therefore you must have access to your own transport for work purposes.
