Job summary
Public health nurse in St Helens supporting the delivery of a public health offer to children and young people and delivering the Healthy Child Programme core offer.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Enhanced 0-19 service to support children, young people and families with SEND and emotional health needs.
This will include delivering packages of care, to empower children, young people & families to develop strategies to support their developmental, physical and emotional health needs. The focus of the team is early intervention and holistic, family centred approach to ensure CYP are supported to fulfil their potential, including input into school readiness programmes.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of the 0-19 service. The post is a 2 year fixed term contract delivering public health offer across St Helens.
Managing a safeguarding caseload, including completing health assessments, contributing to multiagency meetings and completing reports.

Supervision is available to all staff both planned and reactive.
