Job summary
At Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS FT we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our outstanding CQC rated Trust as a Band 2 Administrator.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, efficient and friendly individual to form part of our administration team. You will need to demonstrate excellent verbal skills who can deliver a high standard of customer care to our patients.
Work pattern can be arranged to meet the needs of the service and the successful candidate, the work base can also be negotiated.
Main duties of the job
To manage patient referrals by registering details on the electronic system, work on the telephone booking line to manage appointments and handling patient queries.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, offering a choice of appointments across Derbyshire.
You will book appointments and make appointment changes using System One.

You will provide administrative support to the Musculoskeletal service using ERS.
You will work on the Out Patient Physiotherapy telephone line booking appointments and handling patient queries. You will be the first point of contact for patients calling to book and change appointments at our out-patient physiotherapy department across Derbyshire.
You will deal directly with the general public and manage our electronic appointments booking system using System One to provide a customer centred service. You will ensure enquiries are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner. You will book patient transport and interpreters as required.

- RSA 1
- ECDL or evidence of working towards
- NVQ level 2 in Customer Service
