Due to recent changes we have a variety of permanent and secondment opportunities, with flexible hours.We are a team who are passionate about making sure people who use our services, and those that work at DCHS, have the best possible experience.As a facilitator you will work with colleagues from across DCHS to work creatively and collaboratively to develop, enhance and improve patient care. You will provide leadership and support to manage a portfolio of projects including clinical audits, promote quality improvement and enable service evaluation. We adopt a coaching and facilitation style, sharing our clinical effectiveness and QI expertise with others to enable all our colleagues to make work better.

Interviews will be held on 7th and 9th May 2024

Main duties of the job

You will need to have excellent communication skills, being able to lead and inspire.

We encourage a coaching approach to working withcolleagues to empower them to measure the care they deliver, make improvements when required and to be curious and creative.

You will need to be organised and able to use your initiative to manage projects effectively.

You will be passionate about ensuring care delivered in DCHS meets the needs of the community, and is delivered safely in line with the bestevidence.

You will have autonomy to make decisions and will be able to problem solve and identify solutions.

You will embrace the opportunity to train other and share our expertise.

You will take on line management support for our analyst and assistant colleagues,

  • G.C.S.E Maths and English or equivalent
  • Clinical Audit or willing to undertake
  • Quality Improvement or willing to undertake.
  • Teaching/ Training or willing to undertake.

  • Educated to Degree level or willing to undertake.

  • Experience of involvement in quality improvement and clinical effectiveness projects including clinical audits
  • Knowledge of and competence in use of relevant software including Excel, Word, Outlook.
