To provide effective and efficient clerical, administrative and process support to the Safeguarding Children and Adults team and Infection Prevention and Control Team in the Nursing and Quality Directorate.
To support the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate health and care services.
Main duties of the job
Not an exhaustive list:
1. To act as an efficient and approachable support service to enquirers contacting the Safeguarding and IPAC teams.
2. To provide accurate, appropriate and timely information about Trust services and non-clinical advice to external and partner agencies, including signposting to other departments within the Trust e.g. Medical Secretaries for child protection medicals when no nurse cover available.
- To provide accurate, appropriate and timely information about Trust services for patients, relatives and carers when necessary and refer or signpost people onto appropriate services
4. To undertake telephonist duties, receiving and processing telephone calls which maybe urgent, including all safeguarding calls for children and adults and completing the appropriate SBARR form.
