You will also be involved in providing training and education to patients, carers, other support staff and professionals on a range of nutritional topics. There will be opportunities to become involved in service development and quality improvement projects.
Whilst you will be line-managed and supervised by the team lead, you will be supported by the whole team, as well as receiving support from the learning disability health team manager for that locality.
Your base is likely to be Park View Resource Centre in Kings Lynn as you will be working predominantly within the West and North LD Teams. However, this is negotiable and will be taken into consideration with the needs of the service. You may be expected to provide countywide input and cover as needed. Therefore, travel is required. Whilst you will have an office base, alternative working arrangements are a key feature of this role e.g. working from home and other sites. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
