Job summary

Norwich place are excited to be advertising a full time Band 5 triage Occupational Therapy position! This role is predominantly a triage role, however there will be an opportunity to do community work on a regular basis.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work with the therapy triage team to triage Community Occupational Therapy referrals coming into the service and clinically reason putting the patient on the correct pathway for their needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an established Community therapy team with daily clinical support and a real 'team approach' to triaging.

This post offers learning skills in clinical reasoning, prioritisation, risk management, communication skills both with patients, colleagues and other professionals, and enhanced equipment knowledge.

About us

The base is Norwich Community Hospital.

Community visits are in and around the outskirts of Norwich. The successful candidate would take on a variety of patient assessments in patient's own homes and care homes.

  • Evidence of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience of audit
  • Experience of audit research
  • Knowledge of additional specialist areas through in-house training & short courses, including: Palliative care, Long term conditions

Qualifications

  • Current HCPC registration
  • Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy degree
