Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for Band 2 Healthcare Assistants at our Palliative Care Unit at Priscilla Bacon Lodge.

This post involves providing palliative care for adults with a life limiting illness and supporting their families.

Main duties of the job

To assist the registered nurses in the organisation of nursing activities and in the smooth running on the ward. To participate as a member of the team supporting patients at the end of their lives.

You will be joining an enthusiastic, supportive, and friendly team. You will receive support and development through in-service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision.

You will participate in a 7 day operational service, which will include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
