Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Norwich for an experienced clinician to join Norwich Place as a HUB Clinical Operations Manager for Norwich Place.
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and line management to staff working in the HUB. The successful candidate will support staff to achieve and ensure competencies are maintained in addition to ensuring that the Trust annual priorities and quality goals are embedded within the workforce.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
Offer advice and support to other members of the primary healthcare team.
Keep accurate, confidential and up to date records for all patient contacts.
Ensure activity data and clinical information is recorded in the patient held record (where available) and on SystmOne and completed on a daily basis.
Be familiar with and comply with all relevant measures under the data protection act and Caldecott guardian initiative, vulnerable adult policies (including safeguarding) and the NCH&C clinical governance framework.
Participate in continuing professional development activity and all mandatory training as required.
Practice within NMC / COT / CSP professional codes of conduct and protocols.
Promote the effective use of local services by closer networking.
Demonstrate a sound understanding of clinical governance and risk management, and apply to work situation, and ensure the team do.
Take part in clinical supervision as per Trust Policy.
To lead staff in ensuring the timely processing of referrals by evaluating the information received, often complex and sensitive, to enable the allocation of the referral to the most appropriate service.
To used advanced clinical knowledge to prioritise the most appropriate response required.

- Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic documentation to demonstrate a robust clinical decision-making audit trail for themselves and/or the team.
- Make recommendations for and lead change.
- Communicate at different and at times complex levels to meet needs of GPs, staff, and patients, using tact and diplomacy within the HUB environment.
- Facilitate development of the integrated team and individual staff members to promote job satisfaction, performance, and ability to manage change.
