Come and join the North Norfolk Learning Disabilities Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic administrative assistant to join a small friendly team supporting the integrated health and social care team based in North Norfolk. You will be carrying out a variety of administrative tasks, to ensure the smooth running of the office and to support the team's overall effectiveness.
Working as part of an established team of administration staff, you will be supported to develop into the role. Full training will be offered in the systems and practices followed by the administration team.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of this role include, accessing various databases, systems and IT programs to record information, including confidential information.
Answering the phone to callers, who may have a learning disability, their families or carers and promptly dealing with their enquiries.
Managing incoming and outgoing post, either via royal mail, or e-mail.
Dealing with any callers to the office, who may have a learning disability, and dealing promptly with their enquiries.
General administrative duties, such as photocopying, typing letters and using health and social care IT and telephony software programs.
Working within the supervision of a Senior Administrator to support the Health and Social Care Managers in the team.

The Community Learning Disabilities Service has 5 integrated health and social care teams throughout Norfolk who supports adults who are living with a learning disability. The North Team is based from Kelling Hospital near Holt.
