We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and caring individual to join our Norwich Place Admin Team. The purpose of the role is to support the Community Access Team (CAT) who are based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to acute hospital pressures and support patients being safely discharged to our Norfolk wide community inpatient Units.
This is a full-time, band 3 substantive post, based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Main duties of the job
This administrative role is required to provide business support, this will include taking referrals for the service, attending team meetings and minute taking as well as comprehensive data inputting for all elements of the service. The role will include close liaison with community clinical staff across all providers, including acute based colleagues, as well as maintaining and updating trackers and logs.
Being able to demonstrate excellent organisational and effective communication skills is essential, along with being able to work collaboratively as part of a team, using your own initiative, and working to deadlines.
You will have experience of undertaking a range of administrative duties and have excellent customer care skills. You will need to be able to evidence a good solid background working in a busy office environment, preferably with experience of working in the NHS. Knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage, but training can be provided for the successful candidate.
