Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant at our Palliative Care Unit at Priscilla Bacon Lodge.

Main duties of the job

To assist the registered nurses in the organisation of nursing activities and in the smooth running on the ward. To participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team supporting and promoting the continuity of patient care.

You will be joining an enthusiastic, supportive, and friendly Multi-Disciplinary Team. You will receive support and development through in-service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision.

This post involves internal rotation between day and night duties, full and part time posts are available.

Our 16 bedded unit provides symptom control and end of life care to patients with varying complexities of needs.
