Job summary
We are recruiting for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Therapy Team within the Dereham (Mid-Norfolk) Community Nursing and Therapy Team based at Dereham Hospital, delivery services within the community and also the inpatient unit at Dereham Hospital.
We are looking for someone who is committed to the delivery of high quality, client-led care. This is an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, covering a varied caseload within the community setting.
They will link closely with a large and increasingly integrated acute and community team for adults with a broad range of presentations, including falls, orthopaedic trauma, frailty, and long term conditions including neurology, rheumatology, and dementia.

Main duties of the job
This post provides an exciting opportunity for an applicant looking to build on a broad clinical skill base, who has excellent communication skills, along with complex problem solving skills to provide quality outcomes for patients. You will be expected to work in an integrated way with our partners in health and social care, whilst adhering to the Trust's Behaviour Framework.
You will be based in Dereham and have supervisory responsibilities for band 4 Assistant Practitioners within the Team, as well as students and rotational band 5 staff.
The post is suitable either for an existing band 6 Physiotherapist or experienced band 5 seeking a developmental role. You should be motivated, adaptable and willing to work within a changing environment. Experience with supervision of staff and students are desirable.
