Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Business Administration Apprentice to work for NCHC NHS Trust within Autism Service Norfolk.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the team, you will assist in the day-to-day operational work of the team, which will involve liaising with members of staff across the team, locality and organisation, external organisations as required and members of the public and our patients and their families as well as other healthcare professionals. The post holder will:

  • Gain knowledge of the functions within the team;
  • Be responsible for supporting a range of functions within the team;
  • Provide administration support to the team/service;
  • Provide administration support to specific projects ongoing within the service such as Education and Training.

You will attend regular team meetings and will receive regular supervision to ensure their development and quality of practice.

About us

Autism Service Norfolk is Adult Autism Diagnostic Service that offers diagnostic assessments alongside some pre and post diagnostic support. It's a newly expanded multidisciplinary team comprising of an Administrators, Specialist Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Psychologists, Support Workers and Clinical and Counselling Psychologists. We work across the county with a team base at Norwich Community Hospital. We are a warm, passionate and motivated team who value the skills that all members of the team bring to the patient pathway through the service.

The post is open to anyone who has achieved the Essential criteria section of the Job description and is willing to undertake and successfully complete the Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship within the 14 month contract of employment.
