Job summary
To support the Warehouse manager in the supervision and coordination of the Driver fitter/ technician, Warehouse Technician and Decontamination Technician. Responsible for all delivery and collection activity throughout the Community Equipment Stores and to deputise in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
Main duties of the job
- To implement safe working practices.
- Write SOPs with support from Warehouse Leads and Administration Manager.
- To ensure all staff adhere to HR Policies and Standard Operating Processes.
- Complete and manage all Risk Assessments.
- Manage incidents/risks within CES reporting system.
- Monitor and manage the operational goals of CES.
- To have an oversight of all warehouse functions.
- Responsible for data analysis.
- To complete regular vehicle audits.
- Responsible for ensuring that warehouse staff are operating at peak efficiency.
- Manage staff training.
- To organise work schedules for CES staff using the Trust e-rostering system.
- To audit stock takes
- To arrange servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
- Responsible for recruitment of staff and PDRs, 1:1s.
- To have a full understanding of the Community Equipment Service, from the purchasing of medical equipment to the disposal of medical equipment
- To hold regular 1:1 meetings with staff.
- Regular huddles with Team Leads.
- To plan and prioritise work within the departments.
- Ensure accurate, data inputted into ELMS and any other electronic data set in line with Trust Policy.
- Liaise with provider companies & estates to ensure management of waste from CES
- To undertake all HR tasks following correct policies and procedures.
- Plan and prioritise work within department allocating duties to staff when needed.
- Awareness of business continuity plans.
- Manage development projects within the warehouse.
