Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic,
friendly, motivated and experienced Administrative Coordinator to work within
our Neurodevelopmental Pathway (NDP) team.
The role is essential for coordinating the administrative functions of
the pathway including coordinating referrals for children and young people and
communicating with parents, carers and professionals.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team that consists of doctors, allied
health professionals, nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrators
The
role is based at the Child Development Centre
in Widnes, Halton and is responsible for the day-to-day provision of
comprehensive administrative support to the directorate, clinical services and
associated health professionals. The
post holder will support the smooth operation of the service and to actively
participate and contribute to the development of the service.
The role is crucial in supporting the administration team
to organise panel dates and room bookings and ensuring all attendees are aware
of cases being discussed prior to meetings to ensure all professionals have
received appropriate case information in advance.As a point of contact for
families and signposting parents/carers to appropriate information is a major
part of the role so possessing excellent communication skills is highly
desirable for this position.

Main duties of the job

- Assist the NDP Coordinator/Team Leader in implementing Trust policy as relating to attendance, including sickness, absence, annual leave and study leave. To undertake return to work interviews and refer to Occupation health as required
- Assist the NDP Coordinator/Team Leader in implementing Trust policy as relating to capability and discipline , including participation in staff development plans , informal conduct agreements
- Assist the NDP Coordinator/Team Leader with recruitment and selection, including reviewing of applications and interviews
- To undertake personal development reviews and support staff where training issues have been identified,
