Job summary
This post will work within the Leeds City Council (LCC)/ Leeds Community Healthcare (LCH) Alliance to support our joint Workplan.The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing defined project/s for the team. Initially the focus will be on the Active Recovery Project.Active Recovery is our joint short term community based rehabilitation and reablement offer for adults in Leeds which plays a key role in enabling people to maximise their independence.
Over the last two years Active Recovery has built strong foundations with a joint referral management function, citywide improvements to enable more people to be supported to achieve more independent outcomes.
We are now ready to move to the next phase of our work: rolling out an integrated therapy and reablement offer and ensuring that we have the right infrastructure, leadership and digital systems to support this and we need excellent programme management to work with service leads to make this a reality.

Salary Information
Whilst this post is being advertised via the NHS, candidates could instead opt for Leeds City Council employment at the equivalent P04 banded payscale (salary to be agreed with successful candidate)
Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide leadership and focus for their project team and will pro-actively communicate with key stakeholders on the development and delivery of their project, ensuring that they are managed in line with best practice standards and that risks are managed, whilst improvements to our services are achieved.
