Job summary

The success candidate will be responsible for delivering and influencing the operational delivery of facilities management. This includes day to day facilities management as well as involvement in exciting change management estates and facilities projects across the Trust's extensive owned and leased estate.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include:

  • Being the operational lead on all facility services provided by the Trust.
  • Line managing the facilities officers, Waste and Contracting Manager and Domestic Services Manager.
  • Leading on the operational performance management of all facilities services.
  • Developing facilities operational plans, which are consistent with the Trusts aims and objectives.
  • Assisting the Head of Facilities Management and Safety in setting the directorate objectives and ensure regular monitoring of those objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining quality standards across all facilities services and actively report on deviations from the norm.
  • Leading on the development and implementation of facilities management related policies and procedures for the Trust to help manage a safe, secure, and clean estate.
  • Assisting in the management of the Trusts major change programmes and projects
