Job summary
This role is accountable to
the Chief Executive and is a full voting member of the Board. You will provide
visible and inspirational clinical leadership across all clinical professional
groups, ensuring high standards of professional practice, clinical education,
patient engagement and patient care. As an executive board member, you will
contribute to the wider strategy, performance and development of the Trust.
Whilst directly employed by
Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust (LCH), this role also provides up to one
day per week of Director support to the Leeds GP Confederation, a thriving
membership organisation which acts as a strategic voice for General Practice in
Leeds and directly provides primary care services at scale.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will as
principal advisor to the LCH Board and the Leeds GP Confederation Board on all
Nursing, AHP and associated clinical matters.
For this role you will need to
be a professionally qualified nurse with experience at or close to board level
in a complex patient-facing or customer-facing organisation, preferably within
the NHS but we are interested in talking to others from public facing
organisations. You will be used to leading teams of clinical professionals as
well as developing clinical strategies, processes and governance that result in
demonstrable achievements.
