An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Tissue Viability Team at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust.
This role offers an excellent chance for the successful candidate to enhance their skills and expand their knowledge in tissue viability.
The role entails dealing with patients who have pressure ulcers, leg ulcers and other complex wound care needs.The post holder would also be expected to undertake triage duties . The potential post holder needs to have experience in leg ulcer and pressure ulcer management and existing wound care skills as well as being able to undertake educational programmes to patients and clinicians.
The potential post holder needs to be a committed and confident individual who is conscientious, dynamic and pro-active and has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Main duties of the job
To provide specialist nursing care, intervention and education though a variety of different approaches, to staff and patients with tissue viability needs within the Shropshire County, across any care setting.

- Professional knowledge acquired through degree supplemented by diploma level specialist training, experience, and short course

- Willingness to undertake Debridement, and Independent Nurse Prescribing Course (or already has)
