We are inviting applicants to join us to lead the Children's Physiotherapy Team. You will be accountable for the safe and high quality delivery of the service and the performance of the team through effective and compassionate line management and leadership.
The role involves working in partnership with parents, children, educators and colleagues throughout health, to deliver service innovation and improvement and includes the opportunity to continue your clinical career, providing clinical care for children as an expert generalist therapist or in your clinical speciality.
As a successful applicant you will have highly developed clinical decision-making skills to support children's assessment and care management. You will be confident in working in a flexible and responsive way.

Main duties of the job
The post holder offers dynamic leadership and management of the Paediatric Physiotherapy team to ensure a responsive, efficient and effective service of a high quality.
The post holder will seek innovative and creative methods of utilising the resources available while remaining focussed on service development.

- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Physiotherapy registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development including specialist training and practical experience to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
- Health Service management within a health or care setting through a combination of in depth experience and training.

- Extensive post graduate experience of which at least a significant proportion of the time has been in Community Paediatric Physiotherapy.
- Successful track record as an effective leader/team manager in health, social care or related environment.

- Experience of working in a variety of settings.
- Experience of managing and delivering in a crisis.
