Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit 2 Community Paediatric Clerical Officers within our Targeted Support Services Team.
These posts sit within the Community Paediatric Administration Team. One post will be based at Coral House, Shrewsbury, and the other post will be based at The Stepping Stones Centre, Malinslee, Telford. The posts support Community Paediatric Clinics and services for Looked after Children and those with Special Educational Needs and Disability.
This includes making clinic appointments, data entry onto an in-house computer system, transcribing dictation into letters, forms and reports.
The NHS offers a valuable pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlements on a pro rata basis. There would also be the opportunity to work towards an apprenticeship qualification e.g. Business Administration NVQ Level 3. You will be welcomed into a supportive team, with on the job training to develop your skills.

Main duties of the job
The aim of the Community Paediatric Administration Team is to provide high quality administrative service, supporting health professionals and Local Authority partners in delivering a quality service to the children and families.
The service supports Community Paediatric Clinics, the Looked after Children function, Special Educational Needs and Disability function.
The post holder will be expected to ensure that all clerical functions are carried out to the highest quality standards and within the deadlines applicable to that particular area of work.
