Calling all Diabetes Specialist Nurses seeking
an opportunity to move into their next role in leadership and management
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
new post as Team Lead within our Children and Young Peoples Diabetes Nursing
Team working across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. The team is part of an
integrated network of services for children and young people providing high
quality specialist child and young person centred care. The Team is an integral
part of an innovative CYP diabetes multidisciplinary team with colleagues in
our organisation as well as in our local acute trust.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced,
dynamic diabetes nurse whose vision is to provide a quality service and to
maximise a positive patient experience in this established service. The
candidate must demonstrate extensive experience working with children and young
people with diabetes.
The successful candidate will be responsible
for the day to day leadership and management of the CYP diabetes nursing team, working
closely with the Community Childrens Nursing Service Manager to ensure the
team delivers and develops in line with the Best Practice Tariff.
The post does not hold a caseload but
will be required to work clinical shifts as part of the roster.

- First degree in nursing and a recognised Diabetes Qualification
