Main duties of the job
A typical day will consist of:
Administration of medications for both physical health and mental health conditions, including controlled medications
Dealing with queries from Healthcare staff, Prison staff and patients
Supporting the delivery of medicines to medication hatches on the prison wings.
Working alongside pharmacist to ensure correct and secure storage of medicines
Supervision on a day-to-day basis will be provided by the onsite Lead Pharmacist and Head of Nursing. As well as appropriate professional supervision and management support.
The post requires an excellent team player who has great organisation skills and has a tenacity to see tasks through to completion. If you are enthusiastic, motivated and ready for a challenge then you are the person we are looking for.

- Have a current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
