Shropshire
Community Health NHS Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 community
staff nurse to join the Northwest Community Nursing Team.
The successful applicant should be able to undertake a
wide range of clinical skills and be willing to embark on further training as
required. It is expected that the post holder will work closely with other
members of the multidisciplinary team.
Previous community experience would be advantageous
but is not essential. We also welcome
applicants from newly qualified nurses and can offer an excellent preceptorship
program and training for both the experienced nurse and newly qualified to gain
the skills required. We are committed to clinical support, CPD & ongoing
training.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be qualified to RN level, be registered
with the NMC and be able to demonstrate current clinical experience in a
variety of NHS settings.
The service operates between the hours
of 8am - 5pm and is a seven day, 365 days a year service. The community staff
nurse role does involve working weekends and some Bank Holidays. As this is a
community post the successful candidate will need to be able to meet the travel
requirements of the posts.

service user.
