Job summary
We are one of the first Integrated Care Systems (ICS) in the country to offer an
occupational therapy rotation, across the local health system, through strong
partnership working.
This post is an ideal opportunity for newly qualified
Occupational Therapists or if you are seeking to widen your career opportunities
through working in a range of specialties and settings. Employed by SCHT, the
post holder will rotate every 6 months across The Shropshire, Telford and
Wrekin ICS. This includes Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH); Robert Jones Agnes
Hunt (RJAH); Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust (SCHT) and Midlands
Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).
This will allow exposure to a variety of settings increasing your skills
and knowledge base and support you to explore where your career might take you.

To work as a key
member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) that is responsive to the needs of
the local population, working flexibly to respond to the changing needs of the
patient.
To provide a key
role in facilitating the seamless transition from community hospital to
patients own home and transferring the care of the patient to other appropriate
