Shropshire
Community Health NHS Trusts childrens occupational therapy team provides a range of community-based
health services for children in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin, for children
aged 0 -18.
We
are looking for Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join our Bank to support flexible
working arrangements within our team.
Are you looking for experience of working within
childrens community occupational therapy services assessing and treating with
children with developmental coordination disorders and physical disabilities.

Main duties of the job
You
will need to have a sound knowledge of assessments and interventions used with
these client groups or be able to demonstrate that you have transferable skills
from working with adults . You will need to be familiar with report writing and
be able to evidence that you have used goal setting and outcome measures within
your practice. You should be able to evidence that you have the developed
skills that may be required to liaise with multidisciplinary teams of health, education,
and social care professionals.

To provide spontaneous and planned advice, teaching and instruction to
relatives, carers and other professionals, to promote understanding of the
aims of the occupational therapy service, and to ensure a consistent
approach to care delivery.
