We're looking for a confident, forward-thinking SLT to join our Adult Community team in Brent as a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. This is a permanent post offering a real opportunity to lead and shape a supportive, dynamic service. Strong B6 candidates will also be considered for acting-up.
Based in a vibrant, diverse borough, the role covers domiciliary, outpatient care and support in the inpatient rehabilitation units at Willesden Centre. You'll take on clinical leadership, support junior staff, and drive service development alongside day-to-day clinical work. We'll support you with regular supervision, leadership development, and CPD opportunities.

Main duties of the job
This leadership post sits within the Brent Adult Community SLT and Inpatient Rehabilitation teams and offers the chance to make a real impact.
You'll co-lead a team of SLTs delivering high-quality outpatient, domiciliary and inpatient care across a diverse caseload, with many clients speaking English as an additional language.
You'll manage your own complex caseload, provide second opinions, and deliver highly specialist input in communication and dysphagia, with access to VFS/FEES where needed. You will also support the SLTs working on the rehabilitation wards with supervision and with complex patient assessments and interventions.
As a key senior clinician, you'll co-lead on service development, governance, and QI projects, ensuring our offer is responsive, evidence-based, and culturally inclusive. Alongside the other B7 SLT, you'll collaborate with local health and social care teams to deliver joint care plans and provide specialist training across sectors. Your role includes supervising staff, leading on complex cases, and supporting the team's development through regular supervision and appraisal. You'll be involved in audit, research, and innovation, with full support for CPD. This is an ideal role for someone ready to take the next step in clinical leadership within a dynamic and growing team.
