We are recruiting motivated Registered Nurses, Midwives or Mental health nurses to undertake the NMC-approved level 7 SCPHN programme in Health Visiting or School Nursing. This full-time training post combines academic study with supervised practice within our community public health teams.

This one-year full time course will be jointly undertaken with our partner universities: Kings College, Brunel University, and City St Georges University.This is your chance to join our teams and to develop your career with the Trust. Alongside the support that you will receive from the University, you will be supported throughout your training by a passionate team of Practice Assessors/Supervisors in the 0-19 team, and the CLCH Academy.

Main duties of the job

Essential criteria:You must be Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)-registered Nurse (RN) or Midwife (RM) or Mental health Nurse (RMN) with active registration on part one, or part two of the NMC register.

(NMC PIN number should be provided within the application).

Must hold a 2.2 or above in a Nursing Degree (UK Level 6)Ability to study at level 7

Commitment to completing the SCPHN programme.

To work with the service, practice assessor/supervisors to develop the skills and competencies to achieve NMC Registration Standards for Specialist Community Practice.
