Job summary

To contribute and participate in the delivery of a comprehensive Health Visiting service in line with the Healthy Child Programme and local service specifications and service model for health visiting that meets the public health needs of local communities.

Contribute to the delivery ofWorking Together to Safeguard Children (2018),including improving health and life chances for children and families and safeguarding those at risk.

To deliver the role in accordance with CLCH Trust values and behaviours.

Please note that the base stated is The Causeway; however, the vacancy may be based across the Borough and will be dependent on staffing and service need at the time of recruitment.

Main duties of the job

To deliver the role specific elements of the Universal Healthy Child Programme (DH 2009).Supporttheworkofthe0-19Public HealthTeamwithplannedprogrammesof public healthcareandhealthpromotion in accordance with The Healthy Child Programme (DH 2009).UndertakeactivitiesasdelegatedbytheHealthVisitor,insupportof thedeliveryofthe0-19service.

Supportthedeliveryofa'childfocusedservice'whichpromotesgoodpartnershipworkingwithparents,nurseries,children'scentresandotheragencies.To participate in service development and health improvement activities.

To monitor, maintain and develop the service.

Experience

  • Experience of working as a team member and on own
