We are excited to be able to offer a full time secondment opportunity of 12 months within the Watford planned care team.
We are looking for individuals that are motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic and keen to develop and grow in the world of community nursing.
This post offers experienced nurses the opportunity to develop or expand clinical skills, ranging from Wound care, Palliative care and Iv therapies whilst receiving support to develop leadership and managerial skills.
Scope to increase to full time post.
Main duties of the job
To provide leadership and management to a team of community nurse.
To be responsible for the team's assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised nursing care to patients living in the community. The service is provided seven days per week 8am - 6pm.
To be responsible for the team's maintenance of patient and other record
To participate in the long-term management of patients within the locality
To have continued responsibility for a defined caseload
To be committed to teamwork and demonstrate good communication at all times.
To support with Sickness and absence management inline with policy
