Quality Information Analyst - Band 6Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) NHS Trust works across nine London boroughs and Hertfordshire. The role will lead on sourcing, analysis and reporting of data and information from a range of stakeholders within and external to the Trust across a range of quality initiatives.

Main duties of the job

The role will chiefly support the Quality team with their programme of work, in measuring the efficacy of quality initiatives, areas which would benefit from quality schemes, and demonstrating and implementing best practice. This will involve key working relationships with the safety team, patient experience team and the Head of Quality Improvement. Their work will involve ensuring consistent and high quality reports, high level and detailed process mapping, drawing together and analysis of data from a wide range of sources, system reviews and the formulation of a sound understanding of the organisations aims and objectives.It is the responsibility of the Quality Information Analyst to convey the requirements to teams and managers. The post holder will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the clear reporting of quality metrics, and the timely delivery of quality improvement schemes.

Eduation/Qualification

Essential

  • Educated to degree level in Informatics or a related discipline, or acquired through training and relevant experience to degree level or equivalent.
  • Health Informatics or Data Management qualifications, or equivalent combination of short courses and experience.

Desirable

  • Membership of Professional Organisation or Body.
  • Relevant Professional Qualification e.g. BCS / ISEB.
  • PRINCE2 or other Project Management accredited qualifications.

Experience

Essential

  • Relevant work experience working with quality improvement or healthcare data analysis
  • Experience of analysing complex datasets, in a healthcare environment, and providing meaningful and credible conclusions and reports.
  • Proven communication skills and relationship management.
  • Proven experience of producing user, functional and technical requirement specifications.
  • Experience of writing reports for senior staff to a high standard.
