Job summary

We are looking for a self-motivated Deputy Information Business Partner to join the Information Management team at CLCH. The role involves supporting the divisional information needs ensuring that operational information requirements are understood and delivered by other members of the Information Management, Business Intelligence and BIPA function.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for delivering the following:

  • development and maintenance of reporting tools including the Trust's Information data warehouse portal.
  • waiting list management for the Trust, supporting divisions in ensuring best practice is followed.
  • oversight and compilation of the integrated finance and performance board report and quality scorecard reporting.
  • providing in-depth analytical support to divisional teams on all information reporting matters.

Main duties of the job

They will be responsible for widening the use of information amongst operational divisions, so staff can use data to actively support themselves in their work on a daily basis. They will be accountable for delivery of activity information requirements, providing advanced information analysis, developing the information use skills of operational/senior managers (for example demand and capacity planning, performance management etc.) and implementing Trust policy on information standards.

This role will be based primarily in our Parsons Green offices. However, as this is a trust-wide role travelling to divisional locations will be necessary.

Essential

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level in relevant field or equivalent combination of post graduate qualification, courses and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of implementing information infrastructure and reporting suites
  • Sound knowledge of NHS business environment, including clinical quality measurement.
  • Extensive knowledge of information management gained through experience.
  • Understanding of role of data standards in IT systems knowledge of relational database design
  • Knowledge of warehouse design and data warehousing principles.
  • Understanding of role of data and information standards in BI systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of business modelling.

Desirable

  • Educated to Master's degree level in relevant field or equivalent combination of post graduate qualification, courses and experience.
  • Health Informatics, Information management or Statistics qualification.
