Job summary

CLCH are recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Hertfordshire Division Transformation team on a secondment/ or fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is applicable to people with or without a clinical background and is a great opportunity to gain experience in Divisional and System transformation projects.

Hertfordshire Transformation Team has a proven track record for delivering and supporting transformation projects. Recent projects supported by the team include establishing the Frailty Hospital@Home service, delivery of a 12-month pilot service focused on advance care planning in care homes and the roll out of digital solutions such as Isla Care. The team is fortunate to work across the division with multiple clinical and corporate services.

Main duties of the job

As a senior member of the team you will work autonomously, undertake project planning and initiation processes, work with stakeholders to deliver agreed actions, and be involved in project closure and evaluations. You will be responsible for ensuring projects have the correct governance and are delivered on time and on budget. In some circumstances you will be expected to work with external organisations and agencies, to meet project objectives. The role will also expose you to the Project Management Office (PMO) function provided by the team, that oversees delivery of the Divisional Transformation Programme. You will interface with other change support teams such as Quality Improvement (QI), Shared Governance and patient experience.

implementation of these interdependent transformation and business change projects.

The post holder will be responsible for:

Managing and leading specific projects which includes developing and managing project/programmes plans, reporting progress and undertaking risk and issue management to ensure effective and timely delivery.

Managing and contributing to the reporting of progress/under performance of projects and programmes.

Working directly with operational leads and relevant stakeholders to deliver specified projects.

Where relevant working with stakeholders outside of the organisation to ensure projects achieve the desired objectives

Establish appropriate project governance and assurance to ensure project oversight and management is effective.
