Community Neuro Therapy Assistant

Job summary

CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!

We are looking to recruit an experienced rehabilitation assistant to work within our specialist Community Neuro service in Hertfordshire (ICSS).

This will involve supporting people with neurological conditions with their rehabilitation and disability management. This will include supporting people with acquired brain injury, progressive an development neurological conditions, supporting with physical and cognitive rehab. You will be working within people's homes across West Hertfordshire, in our newly refurbished community rehab center and in other community settings. You will also have the opportunity to work virtually and to run patient therapy groups.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is conscientious and adaptable. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to demonstrate an adaptable approach whilst meeting guidelines and providing excellent patient centered care and rehab.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve having responsibility to work supporting our highly specialist MDT team, supporting therapy programmes set by our experienced clinicians.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in developing provision for people with neurological conditions, working in a supportive, friendly and passionate multidisciplinary team.

You will form an essential part of a dedicated, knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team that regularly engages with team and individual clinical supervision. Development and training opportunities are available through the CLCH Academy.
