Job summary

CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!

The Community Nursing & Therapy teams work across Watford & Three Rivers to provide care to patients in their own homes who are house bound.

An exciting opportunity to join our service has arisen and we are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our busy locality admin team, based at the Skidmore Way Clinic in Rickmansworth.

Main duties of the job

Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with the ability to work as part of the team and independently. The post requires a self-motivating individual with a pro-active approach to administration and an ability to manage professionally patient enquiries.

Candidates must have skill and experience in working with all Microsoft Office applications and work to a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of systems such as Systm1 would be an advantage as would previous NHS experience.

  • To support the day-to-day running of the administration needs of the Planned Care team and to act as a point of contact for professionals
  • To provide administrative support to the Planned Care team to enable them to meet client needs and undertake their role, delivering quality patient care. The post holder will be flexible in order to meet the requirements of the Locality Managers remit
  • To work as part of a team ensuring that the daily administration tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
  • To communicate with professionals and the general public with tact and sensitivity
  • To ensure that accurate details are exchanged with all relevant staff. To give support to patients, carers and staff where appropriate, acting as a supportive member of the team at all times.
